MYOs AND SALES

  1. MYO slots do not expire.
  2. MYO sales happen on the 1st of every month.
  3. Users are only allowed to buy 1 slot per sale period.
  4. Users are only allowed to have a maximum of 5 unused slots at any time.
  5. All slots have a two week cooldown before they can be gifted/traded/resold.
  6. Slots can be bought with USD or CW. 
    • Slots bought with USD can only be resold for the same price or lower.
    • Slots bought with CW cannot be resold, only gifted/traded.
  7. USD slots must be paid within 24 hours of receiving the invoice.
  8. Site staff and affiliates will receive a Poptopus Prime slot after joining. This slot allows use of all traits (including event traits).
    • If a Poptopus Prime is gifted/transferred, it will be treated as a regular King Poptopus.

RESELLING/trading

  1. Only characters/items/MYO slots bought with USD can be sold with USD.
  2. Only commissions add USD worth. Please contact artbymaxm for appraisals (if needed).
  3. If trading/selling to someone else, please make sure they have an account and that you transfer them properly. If you received a Foxtopus, and the previous owner isn't able to transfer it to you on the site, please let us know immediately. People who transfer Foxtopi to those without an account will receive a strike. Remember that the site acts as the masterlist, and it's important that the ownership history matches up.

DESIGNING

  1. All Foxtopi designs must be SFW.
  2. Designs are not allowed to reference or support harmful content. (Including, but not limited to: racism, transphobia, incest, rape, nazism, fascism, etc.)
  3. Designs can be based off of canon characters, but users should avoid straight up copies.
  4. The staff is not responsible for any legal problems a user may face over a design inspired by an canon character.
  5. Pre-existing designs can be turned into Foxtopus, as long as the original designer allows it.
    • Foxtopi can also have alternate designs of other species, as long as the other species allows it.
  6. Users can ask or commission someone else to design their Foxtopus, but proper credit must be given.
    • If the design was commissioned, the user must also list how much they paid when sending the design for approval. This will count towards the value.

REDESIGNING

  1. Redesigns must resemble the original by at least 75%. Using an Espresso Turnover allows for more major redesigns, but the traits must generally remain the same.
  2. The original designer’s TOS must be followed as well (when applicable.)

ADOPTS

  1. Do not bid unless you can pay. Deleting your bid or ghosting will earn one strike.
    • If you decide to back out, please inform the person you outbid, and keep your bid up for reference.
  2. The individual artist’s TOS takes priority over the species TOS. 
  3. Users must get permission from the adopt designer before redesigning.
  4. Users who purchase a Foxtopi adopt or crossbreed must create an account on the official site if they do not have one beforehand.

VOIDING

  1. Users who void their own Foxtopus designs are not required to give a reason, but they are required to go through the voiding process.
  2. Users must ask permission from the original designer before voiding a Foxtopus designed by someone else.
  3. By default, we will only require the tentatails to be removed. We may ask you to remove other traits at our own discretion.
  4. The user who voided the design cannot unvoid it, but a new owner can.
  5. The new owner must ask permission from original designer to reinstate the design. 
  6. Voided designs will be kept on the site for reference, but noted as voided.
  7. To void a Foxtopus design, please contact artbymaxm.

STRIKE SYSTEM

  1. Users will receive a strike for minor offenses. These include, but are not limited to:
    • Breaking TOS.
    • Inappropriate behavior or messages within the server.
  2. Users have up to three (3) strikes. At the fourth offense, they will be removed from the species, and banned/blacklisted depending on the severity of the offenses.

BLACKLISTING

  1. Users can get blacklisted for the following reasons:
    • Multiple instances of breaking TOS. (After being given appropriate warnings)
    • Producing or engaging with harmful content, including, but not limited to: racism, transphobia, incest, rape, etc. This extends to content outside of the species that is public or otherwise easily accessible.
    • Breaking the TOS of the species’ art staff and/or guest artists.
  2. Blacklisted users are not allowed to receive any Foxtopi designs or MYO slots.
  3. Users found trying to give Foxtopi designs to blacklisted users will be blacklisted as well.
