FXMY-100: Paraparan
Backstory
Paraparan never had a place to call home. For a little less than 200 years, Paraparan was always moving from place to place for different reasons. There were humans who treated her nicely, giving her gifts and offerings when they believed she was a deity, but also humans who wanted to use her for their own gain. There were times humans even thought she was a monster, and while they were correct to a degree, she never harmed them. She relied on others, and she was small and weak except for her tails.
When Paraparan met Aruvu, the quiet kumiho in a meadow of marigolds, she was reluctant to speak to him. Were kumiho not scary creatures who ate humans? It was a destiny she feared for herself and she was uneasy. But she'd been alone for quite a while, so she decided to give it a shot. Upon speaking to Aruvu, she quickly warmed up to him. He wasn't talkative, but he was self-sufficient but generous, and somewhat indifferent to her -- even when she pestered him. She took it upon herself to adopt him as a brother, and he didn't mind. Since then, she's lived with him in his forest, living off of him for the most part, but repaying him by getting him human items and food and of course: offering her incessant company.
Personality
Paraparan is a bit immature, morally. If it was in her favor, she would not mind harming others (namely humans) to survive. However, since she relies on others for many things, she opts to chum it up with those who can help her rather than use force to hurt them. This isn't to say she does everything in the transaction as she still makes meaningful relationships with those she was initially using. Additionally, she doesn't quite understand her own attachment to others, and she'd be much quicker to cry out that you were taking away her food source rather than someone whose company values.
Paraparan is very mischievous. She likes to scare others or play pranks on them. She learned magic from Aruvu and has since then used it to trick humans, other foxtopi, and even Aruvu. She has a tendency to steal things, especially shiny objects. She thinks it's a shame when she has to use her pickpocketed golden coins to buy food, clothing, and other items that were too hard to steal.
