Hello everyone! Unfortunately, the planned site updates and glitch fixes will be pushed back again. It's become extremely difficult to find an available Lorekeeper coder at this time, and we don't want to glitch the site any more than it already has. Thank you so much for your understanding and patience.

The USD and CW prices for the MYO slots are as follows:
- Blue Poptopus: $10 / 700 CW
- Green Poptopus: $20 / 1800 CW
- King Poptopus: $40 / 3500 CW
All slots are 1 per user, and have a 2 week cooldown.

There will be no MYO sales this month since the CW gacha has been moved! We’ll have MYO sales again next month ^^
SPACETACULAR GACHA UPDATE
After a lot of discussion, we’ve decided to have a do-over with the CW gacha with new rules. The new rules are as follows:
- The gacha will be hosted on the foxtop.us site, so we can have more control.
- The gacha and these new rules will be posted on May 5, 2:30am UTC, and there will be a one hour viewing window to make sure everyone understands the rules.
- Comments will open on 3:30am UTC.
- There will only be one roll per person, and no rerolls. We will open a swap bulletin afterwards for people who want to trade adopts!
- Once we have reached 20 comments, we will immediately start rolling. This is to keep things easier for us.

We will post another announcement regarding how the gacha will proceed before that, as we're still figuring out the best way to go about things.
In this announcement, I'd like to explain some things to everyone. We made this gacha so that people who don't have the IRL money to participate in CS gachas can also have fun rolling. Considering the species activity before this, we didn't expect such a sudden influx of activity, and expected that the CW gacha would run smoothly as the USD gacha yesterday which had the same rules. We understand the excitement about the gacha, and we're glad that everyone is hyped and ready to support, but we weren't prepared for the sudden influx of demands about the rules that worked just fine before.
Please remember that we run these gachas in our spare time, and this specific one is being ran for free. We just want our community to have fun and be able to participate in events with species currency, but please be considerate and patient for the people running this behind the scenes. We understand where a lot of the complaints and suggestions are coming from, and we will be taking them into account for the future. However, we have been overwhelmed by the sheer influx of comments, and please know that the gacha rolling is being done by one person for free. We are not a company who can easily automate gacha systems.
We hope that the next time we run a CW gacha, everyone will be more patient and considerate and read over the rules carefully to avoid something like this happening again.

🚀 SPACETACULAR GACHA 👽
Beep! Boop! Huh, what’s that? Seems like we’re getting a mysterious transmission!
The SPACETACULAR GACHA is coming soon! There are 50 adopts available overall, 30 for USD and 20 for CW buyers. The USD gacha will be held on April 28, 3:30am UTC (see here), and the CW gacha will be on the next day, April 29, 3:30am UTC! (see here). The prices are as follows:
USD: $20 roll, $10 reroll ($5 to first adopt rolled, $5 to next adopt), $50 AB
CW: 150 roll, 75 reroll, no AB
Each gacha will be limited to 2 rolls + 2 rerolls per person. Staff and anyone involved in making the gacha (including affiliates and GA) are allowed to roll in both gachas, but they cannot AB.
This gacha will follow similar rules to the Halloween gacha we had a while back! Click here to see the rules again.
- 3:30am UTC: the gacha graphic will be posted along with a refresher of these rules.
There will 5 minutes viewing time, and no AB or roll will be honored during this time. - Once 5 minutes are up (3:35am UTC), I’ll comment "AB OPEN FOR 1 HOUR. COMMENT, DO NOT REPLY". There will be no AB for the CW adopts!
Like the comment says, AB will be open for 1 hour. No rolls will be honored, and AB claims not following the instructions will be ignored. Comments will be FCFS, and must be paid within 6 hours. Failure to pay will mean either the next AB will be honored, or the adopt will go back into the gacha pool. - Once AB claims close (4:35am UTC), I’ll comment "AB CLAIMS ARE NOW CLOSED. AB IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE."
Again, AB claims made after this comment will be ignored. Comments made before this will still be honored if applicable. - After that, I’ll comment "ROLLS OPEN - COMMENT, DO NOT REPLY". Roll comments made before the comment or replying to the comment will be ignored.
Comments will be rolled on a FCFS basis! After I roll, I will reply to you with the adopt you got, you will have 6 hours to reply, otherwise you will be skipped and the adopt you rolled will be put back in the pool. 
- Once you claim an adopt you roll, I'll give you the PayPal email/link of the artist! You have 6 hours to pay, and once you pay, please PM me on Toyhouse or Discord (artbymaxm#0524) with proof!
- A friend can claim an AB/roll, but they have to say who they're claiming for, and it has to be only one person! If multiple people claim for one person, those comments will be ignored.

💵 ECONOMY CHANGES UPDATE 💵
We’re still working hard behind the scenes, but we’ve run into certain technical complications, so most of the economy changes announced to take effect in May will be delayed to June. This means that we will be changing the monthly submission limit back to 10 pieces until the site overhaul has been finalized! We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you can remain patient with us until we can finalize everything.
However some of the announced changes will be going into effect. The Sato/Milestone prompt will still be discontinued in May as planned.
🎈 THE STAND OF WONDERS 🎈
… It seems Sato wasn’t able to get rid of that weird tent from a while back. Well, it’s back where it was, standing there like nothing happened. Now there’s a sign that has “MAY 14 TO MAY 20 ONLY!” scrawled on it in marker. Are you still willing to risk it?
Also, we’ve made some changes to this shop:
There will be no CW reward for the prompt, only the random bag. However, there’s now a higher chance of getting a SPOOL OF THREAD! We are also limiting shop purchases to 3 per cycle.

MYO SALES CLOSED + SMALL UPDATE!

Also a small update/correction with the last newsletter! I made a mistake and wrote that "All art submissions must now be submitted to the gallery first. Submissions that link to anywhere else (Discord, Sta.sh, Toyhouse, etc) will be rejected!" would come into effect on May 1.
This change is effective immediately. This means that if you'd like to submit something to any prompt, please make sure to submit to the gallery first! Here's a guide on how to do that if you're confused :D

❓ NEW VOIDING GUIDELINES ❓
We now have a formal process for voiding Foxtopi. You’ll submit a design update (see how to do that here), but for voiding, the new image should have the tentatails removed (We may ask for more traits to be removed if necessary). Don't forget to note down that you want to void the design.
The design will stay on site for archival/future reference, and we’ll mark the design as voided. This should be a more efficient and organized way of voiding Foxtopi. Voiding is of course free, just make sure you have permission from the original designer!

💵 ECONOMY CHANGES 💵
A big thank you to everyone who filled out the economy questionnaire! We appreciate the feedback as we work to make the Foxtopus species a more fun, interactive community. Starting May 1st, we will be making some big changes to the economy (including prompts) and how it runs:
- We are only going to allow 3 submissions a month for the regular art appraisal and items bought in stores will be changed to a limited stock. This is to better control farming so that items and MYOs don’t become obsolete, and to keep this community from becoming dull from lack of challenge.
- We will also be discontinuing the Milestone/Sato prompt. I hope this is understandable, as we gain more and more users it becomes difficult to properly verify milestones.
- All art submissions must now be submitted to the gallery first. Submissions that link to anywhere else (Discord, Sta.sh, Toyhouse, etc) will be rejected!
- Submissions must now be at least lined and flat colored. Please see the examples below of what we’ll allow:
But don’t worry! As we shift into high gear, making this a better and more tangible ARPG, we will be introducing new activities to make earning CW a more fun and involved experience! We will be adding roleplay related prompts such as part-time jobs, school spirit weeks, and attending events as your Foxto.
This is all to allow for different ways to earn CW. We are also working on a crafting system that will allow you to craft items that aren’t usually available in unlimited amounts!These prompts will go into effect on May 1st as well.
We thank all of our users for sticking around this long, as well as new users for choosing to join our community. We couldn’t do this without you and we hope that you will stick around for the future as we develop Foxtopus even more!
💻 CODING STAFF APPLICATIONS 💿
As we further develop Foxtopus into a more professional ARPG, we are now looking for coders to help with the overall look and format of the site!
We are looking for people with experience working with CSS (priority) or HTML to code. Prior experience with working on Lorekeeper sites or websites in general is appreciated, but not required when applying! Coders will be directly involved with the site and future events, so you will be compensated in a similar way to staff compensation (Mainly MYOs and additional items).
